Thank you for my beautiful apartment in The Glenview at Pelican Bay. It took six months after the permit because of a hurricane, Covid, inspection delays. These were vexing but never affected its beautiful construction.

We hired Cotter Construction in the spring of 2020 to complete a total renovation of our coach home in Mediterra. This included new floors, a new kitchen, new baths, an enclosed lanai and some slight architectural modifications. At the time, there was a lot of fear and uncertainty regarding Covid. We did not feel comfortable flying down to Florida over the summer and fall to check in on the project. Our wonderful Project Manager, worked closely and collaboratively with our designer and communicated with us remotely on a regular basis. We were thrilled with the quality of work and the final result when we returned to Naples. Our short punch list items were addressed quickly, without any hesitation. Despite all the challenges of Covid and supply chain issues, they delivered. We would highly recommend Cotter Construction!

We were impressed with their professionalism and thorough understanding of the work we wanted to do. Their recommendations were excellent and they completed the project on time and within budget during an extremely difficult economic environment. We first heard of Cotter Construction through a neighbor who had done a renovation to extend their lanai, effectively moving the sliders to the outside of the building and then redoing the space enclosed. They also redid a few rooms and the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. We were impressed with the work and spoke with Cotter Construction who gave us a quote to do a similar job for us. Then the pandemic hit!

In just over 2 days (before we returned to Toronto), Cotter Construction guided us to meet with several suppliers of materials (marble, flooring, tiles, appliances, etc.) and we were able to select virtually all of the pieces required to do the job. We were given photo updates while we were in Toronto over the summer and returned in Nov/20 to find our home totally transformed. It really was amazing.

The bathrooms, kitchen and lanai were absolutely spectacular. The new wood flooring throughout was gorgeous including the entryway woodwork that was refinished by hand. And the sliders actually slide easily, just as they had promised. It was like a new home, totally refinished. And the entire job came in under the budget/estimate and on time. Who does that any more?

After we settled in, Cotter Construction continued to follow up with us as small issues had to be dealt with and they were followed up quickly and very well done. Even now, almost two years later, as we have decided to redo a couple of things we didn’t address in the first renovation, Cotter Construction has been an enormous help in connecting us with quality people who get the job done right and at a reasonable price. We couldn’t be happier. Everything has been done as quoted and with great attention to detail.

We have been recommending Cotter Construction, to everyone who sees our place. Unfortunately, with Covid still out there, that hasn’t been so many but we would be pleased to speak to anyone who has questions about Cotter Construction service and assistance. It has been a real pleasure dealing with them.
